Not sure what u mean by nothing there? Is the lemur editor not showing at all? I'm running the Lemur editor on the newest Mojave with 0 problems. Could you send us a screenshot?
It should be kinda straight forward Getting editor with lemur app.
But this forum nothing to do with Liine company, they killed there forum a while back and I just created this forum, because it seems lemur community wasn't dead yet. And personally I can't find an app out there that out perform what u can with lemur once u really get Into it and understand how.
But before I can say what's wrong I need a few more details. Like a pic or 2 showing how apps looks like after being opened.
But this is how I always make sure my lemur is always connecting with no issues.
1. Make sure the daemon app is activated. The daemon appear in the top Right as a small icon. But that should be just running nothing else, its just to send midi ports from PC/Mac to lemur over network, the setup of ports can be done directly from Lemur on the iPad. Of course make sure your iPad n mac is on same wifi.
2. Open lemur on ipad, and keep it open.
3. Open the editor and find the Play Icon in the top right, and press and a menu should appear showing all of the lemurs connected to the network. Select the iPad and press connect.
Now the editor n lemur IOS is synced, so if you add something in the editor it will appear same way on lemur iPad.
----–---–-------------------------------------
Out of personal curiosity, what do you mean by ipad 2? Are we talking the really old ipad 2nd gen? Or an Ipad Air 2(alot newer). Because if it's just Ipad 2, don't get your hopes 2 high running loads objects and smooth performance at the same. Lemur runs mainly on the tablets graphics chip due 2 all is vector graphics , and iPad 2 wasn't that powerful. So just keep that in mind if ipad 2, if it's air 2 then no worries it runs lemur flawless with loads of objects.

Hi, thanks for replying so quickly. When launching the Editor all i get on the top apple menu bar is Lemur and the option to quit. Thats it. There is nothing on my desktop, no open window, no editor, nothing. When i click on setup Daemon, nothing happens. I don't have the option to tell Daemon to launch every time at startup. When i "create new network" on my mac pro, it puts it in the "Devices" column, not with the other wifi networks. This seems strange to me. When i launch Lemur on my iPad2 (yes the original iPad2, not Air) it just has the Lemur logo and the settings gear top right. I only plan on using Lemur with my iPad2 to control Cubase Pro shortcut keys, not faders or anything dynamic, just buttons. So i assumed my iPad2 would be fine.
Now, as I am trying this again this morning i discovered that (in the Mac dock where the Lemur app icon is), if you right-click you are given the option to "Show All Windows". Well guess what, it makes the Editor appear! However! As soon as I try to click on the Editor, it disappears!! This behavior is exactly like asking "full screen" from an app because it makes all other open windows on my desktop move aside. So now my questions are... 1. How do we make it so the Editor has its windows open by default, not by "Show All Windows"? It seems to be backwards. 2. How do I create a new wifi network for Lemur that shows not as a "device". Maybe this is the bug which doesn't allow me to connect to my iPad. The Lemur iOS app is just sitting there waiting for something.
Also, I tried turning OFF Bluetooth AND Firewall, both had NO positive affect.

The ONLY way i can get the Editor to appear on my desktop is if i go to Mission Control and choose "Desktops as Separate Spaces". Making each of my monitors their own desktop with Menu bar and docks. Then i can assign the Editor window to a desktop BUT..... i can't do anything with the Editor. Tried clicking on ANYTHING on the Editor and nothing works. Then when I change my Mission Control back to NOT separate spaces (just one desktop with menu bar and dock), then the Editor is hidden again. EVEN when i right click options to choose This Desktop, All Desktops, None.......nothing makes it appear. This problem seems to be with Mac and extended desktop or separate desktop spaces. But this issue i think isn't with my Mac. Because even when changing single desktop versus separate spaces, i can STILL have any app's window on any part of my desktop. Unlike how Lemur is acting. So this says to me it is a bug with Lemur and Mac desktops. Can you do something about it? I really would like to use Lemur for Cubase shortcut key command buttons. Thanks!

Your mac isn't connected to a router?
Because the way you show how you are connecting, is only a method used if computer and ipad has no wifi router to connect 2. Normally you just connect both mac and ipad to same router. Press play button in top right and select the ipad.
Why you have to press show all windows is beyond me, and might as well be a problem with your current OSX. I have 0 issues with Mojave and I'm using dual screen, putting the editor in a separate mac desktop window never been an issue either.
And yes if you just wanna use lemur to trigger commands inside Cubase then by buttons, then iPad 2 is good enough.

Your mac can just stay connected by ethernet, I actually recommend using ethernet if your devices have that option. As long the router you are connected 2 by ethernet also Has the wifi connection to the ipad.

Yea, my MacPro has internet via Ethernet to my Fios router. I can have my iPad connect via Wifi to the Fios router. What i don't understand is what to do next. I created new network, but it appears as a device.

You don't need to create a network once ipad is connected by wifi and mac by ethernet. Just need to select the ipad in the lemur editor. My Mac is connected by ethernet and iPad by wifi and I just go press the play button and select my iPad that's all.. Right now I'm using this method to connect my ipad to rest of network and actually most stable of all even more than daemon USB connection method. But I'm pretty sure u need newer iOS version and osx version. But when connect my ipad pro 2016 to my mac with Mojave, and in Mojave go to settings / sharing / internet share. Then I see ipad as an option and if I select ipad and activate, then the ipad now gets the internet from mac, and therefore are on the same network by the USB cable. And now have sweet 0 ms always between mac n iPad.
