Hello all! Ive been a Lemur user since the original Jazzmutant versions. I have a 2 part question if anyone could help that would be great. 1. I am building a rather large Lemur template for my film scoring projects in Logic. Everything works great, toggling stacks, hiding unused, toggling Vst's, etc BUT I would like to have fader control over a few channels like Dialog, FX, Click and Temp. Max 6 channels. Part 2. The Lemur Daemon is absolute crap. Im using the USB connection and it drops out, or just flat out disconnects after a few minutes. Not very fast for my workflow to keep having to close and reopen the App. Any help?

From High-Sierra and up / ios 10. Apple implemented a way to share internet(either from your lan port or wifi ) to ios devices by usb. (works with multi devices also) this is how i used to create usb link between lemur and my mac and + lemur daemon, in normal network mode. That other usb mode never really worked for me either. To be honest i havnt used lemur in + 1 year, ever since i started the development of my own "new" lemur since liine never going 2. So cant say if the daemon still works fine without using the daemon usb mode. (worked fine for me last time, also with buildin step sequencers ect) But im also using this method to create the usb link between my own daemon tool and my new app. Still working hard on getting this new app ready. But its coming.. Hope this method fixes your issue.

I used to use this also for midi linking by USB. but i found that the new "apple usb network trick + lemur daemon" was even more stable. apps.apple.com/us/app/midimux/id963133945another alternative if money is not a issue, is to buy a "lightning to usb3 kit" + "apple usb to ethernet adapter". (got this my self, if i need longer range than the usb cable can supply) Iconnectivity is also a nice solution but kinda overkill if you only need a usb link between your ios device and your daw. Seems more like a tool if you want to control other hardware devices without having to depend on the DAW to route it all.

Very sweet. I'll test this out today. I resolved the Logic fader issue. I should also add that I am using an Ipad 2 with IOS 9.3.5

Hmm ios 9 then u cant do that trick.. but Cant say about usb to ethernet either..
i think you would be better off by investing in a newer ipad. then trying to buy extra hardware to make the connection..
i have tried lemur with really old gen ipad / cheap android tablets and user experience was terrible.. sluggish and laggin only cases i can see that old tablets with lemur being usefull is if you only going to click buttons only or really simple tweaking..
Lemur isnt really CPU demanding, since all is GPU accelerated.(not that it needs that much GPU power)
But a quick comparement of ipad versions
Ipad Air 1(2 gens newer than your ipad 2) has a GPU score of 21. Ipad Air 2 has a score of 761
while the newest 8th gen standard ipad has a score of +5000.
atm i think wifi will be your only friend with that ipad version, any other attemps to make that work with anything but wifi will be a time waster and money waster.
but i noticed that the midimux / studiomux app for ios / mac is supposed to work with ios 8 and up..
